Björn Kalzén and I created this game for the Amiga in the mid-nineties. In the past I have ported it to BeOS and Gameboy Color, and now the time has come to the Sega Dreamcast.
This port is probably the best (except missing sound). It has an integrated editor, so that you can create you own levels to challenge you family and friends.
The game is released as an elf, you will either put it on a compact disk that you make self-booting (look somewhere else for instructions on that) or send it to the DC with some tool. Personally, I use: dc coders-cable (from www.liksang.com) and, dc-tool by Andrew K (adk.napalm-x.com/dc/).
dc-tool -b 115200 -x dynamate_dc.elf
Dynamate is a puzzle game. A level is a 16x16 grid where pieces can slide in four directions: up, down, left and right. A piece slide until it hit something. If a colored piece hit another some combinations make them both disappear. The goal of the game is to make all colored pieces disappear.
To make a piece slide place the little hand over the piece, press and hold "A", then move the d-pad in the direction you want it to slide. Not all pieces can be moved.
I am sure you will get it.
Known bugs/flaws.
Bug reports are welcome. There is a greater chance for me to solve the problem if you can write it in this format (or similar):
o. Insert VMU in slot 2 in the controller o. Insert controller in any port o. Start game o. Select "User Level" o. Select "Load" x. The game says "Can’t read VMU"
